It’s January 1968 and the lads of 211 Entry are lined up in the cold outside the barber’s shop. As per the 60s, there was hair length ranging from shoulder length to those who had seen fit to have a
‘short back and sides’ before arrival (yes even those had to have another haircut so Sweeney got paid) Rez Beazer was at the end of a long queue with thick long black hair. Unfortunately Sweeney saw him out of the window, called him in, removed the occupant of the chair putting Rez in his place. Then deftly brandishing his clippers Sweeney got quickly to work with a flourish removing the hair from both sides of Rez’s head, leaving the middle alone. Shouting “Ho! Look! the last of the Mohicans”, Rez was sent back to his place at the end of the line.
